Farah Quinn is an Indonesian celebrity chef restaurateur and media personality, known for her culinary television shows. Her first cooking show was called “Ala Chef” and was broadcasted nationwide on Trans TV and Asian Food Channel. The TV show “The Big Break” became her international break through and broadcasted in many countries. She was awarded the 2013 Panasonic Gobel Award as the Best Presenter for hobby and lifestyle television program.

Before achieving this she obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After this her love for food took over and she changed her field of study to culinary arts and completed a degree in pastry arts from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.

This was also the basis of opening her own successful restaurants in America and being part of very prestigious projects such as creating desserts for the G8 Summit for the likes of the first lady of the White House.

These days Farah is very much involved in creating her own signature products whereby she is using local ingredients and involved in developing new innovative products.

One of Farah’s more recent projects is a collaboration with KLM as brand ambassador. For this project Farah created a series of exclusive menus for KLM’s new World Business Class and Economy Class on several routes.

Apart from Indonesia as her home country, several new and very exciting projects are being developed in Europe, Africa, Australia and (South) America. Food will always be Farah’s number one however there are also some steps into Fashion and some new TV shows as well.
